Writers and staff: if you have a writer-portal account, we store your name, email address, a securely hashed password and the stories you submit.
Email: if you contact us, we keep your message and email address to respond.

Cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how readers use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser). Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) and its data is processed by Google under its own privacy policy; you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies. Aggregated headlines link to other publishers' websites, which have their own privacy policies. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and analytics is provided by Google Analytics.

To operate, secure and improve the site, to publish writer submissions, and to respond to inquiries. We do not sell personal information.
